On 9-11 June 2017, Comtrade Digital Services hosted a Business Hackathon in Berlin for the first time. The event in the Impact Hub in Berlin kicked off on Friday evening with a meetup on »How to make future mobility smarter«.
Marko Javornik, VP/GM of Mobility and Travel department, Comtrade Digital Services, and Marta Kos Marko, the Ambassador at the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Berlin, opened the event with some inspiring words for the participants. Afterwards, the attendees heard talks from three international speakers. Prof. Dr. Andreas Knie from InnoZ shared insights about his work at the Innovation Institute and his view on the current and future mobility. Thomas Zeinzinger from the Blockchain Hub in Graz introduced the potential of the blockchain technology to the attendees, including the potential use cases of blockchains in the area of mobility. Josep Laborda from RACC Automobil club, Barcelona, contributed his in-depth knowledge about the Mobility-as-a-Service ecosystem and potential developments.
