Oxfordshire County Council is Looking for a MaaS Research Assistant

The Oxfordshire County Council is excited to be recruiting for a full time position for a MaaS research assistant. The focus will be on the interaction of MaaS with smart mobility options, such as connected and autonomous vehicles, electric vehicles, air mobility, demand responsive transport, and smart cities. The work will be done through feasibility studies and strategy advising.

The ideal candidate will support the activities of the team, including some basic administrative tasks, and provide research and input into developing strategies, projects and funding bids – including feasibility, initial costing and other assessments. Analysing data providing technical input into strategy and project development, including developing new methods of visualising data, he / she will also assist in supporting the on-going development of the County Councils, Smart Cities work and future innovative policy development.

With a relevant degree or equivalent qualification, and project and programme management experience, the ideal candidate will have an understanding of and interest in automated transport & MaaS smart city policy issues. Experienced in carrying out research and identifying and delivering innovative and imaginative solutions to challenges facing the public sector, he/she will also have the ability to carry out data collection, analysis and presentation.
