Join the world’s first 3D virtual smart mobility congress

Finnish mobility ecosystem joined forces to launch a green and smart mobility event to offer companies tools to reinvent their business to survive in the post-COVIDworld and to explore the potential of smart mobility solutions in Green Recovery. The first-of-a-kind 3D congress, “Green & Smart Recovery – Mobility 2.0”, will take place virtually on Thursday 11th June 2020 at 10:00-16:00 CET. The event will gather influencers, policy makers and industry representatives as keynote speakers and attendees across Europe and globally. The aim of the congress is to ensure green and smart recovery of the mobility sector post-COVID-19.

We are taking an active role in finding ways to ensure all sectors of the transportation industry recover from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and to ensure the continuity of greening and digitalisation of the sector. “Green & Smart Recovery – Mobility 2.0” virtual 3D congress is the very first of its kind in the mobility sector. It will deliver an immersive 3D experience with international keynotes, 3D exhibition space, 3D networking and an after party including a gig by DJ RNo. The congress differs from a traditional virtual event as it allows the participants to create an avatar to explore and move around the online venue and exhibition spaces giving the participant a more comprehensive, life-like experience.

Finland is one of the leading countries in enabling future intelligent mobility and creating new business through smart mobility solutions. The congress will showcase the latest smart mobility solutions from Finland from areas identified with most potential for new business in the post-COVID world; sustainable and green mobility, new digital solutions, refined data, autonomous driving and circular economy.

The congress will gather a wide range of influencers, policy makers and industry representatives across the European countries and globally. Amongst the speakers are for example Timo Harakka, Minister of Transport and Communications of Finland, Topi Manner, CEO, Finnair, Jan Vapaavuori, Mayor of the City of Helsinki, Jacob Bangsgaard, CEO, ERTICO, Miapetra Kumpula-Natri, Member of European Parliament, Sampo Hietanen, CEO, MaaS Global, Dr. Tara Shirvani, Lead – EBRD Community of Practice for Disruptive Technologies, Elias Pöyry, CBO, Virta, Morten Kabell, co-CEO of European Cyclists’ Federation and former Mayor of Technical and Environmental affairs of Copenhagen, Teppo Rantanen, Executive Director of economic policy, competitiveness and innovation, City of Tampere and Harri Santamala, CEO, Sensible4.
