MaaS Alliance has established a partnership with SAE International, a non-profit educational and scientific organisation dedicated to advancing mobility technology to better serve humanity. According to the Memorandum of Understanding, which serves as the basis of the partnership, both parties will work together to support and foster collaborative efforts in the creation of guidelines and standards for the development of more integrated and seamless mobility services. In addition, both parties will keep each other aware of the positions taken on technical issues by enabling selected staff and members to become participants in each organisation’s relevant standardisation activities. The collaboration with SAE will help create commonly accepted definitions and standards for MaaS and shared mobility services.
